Bus Driver Positions

Drivers Earn:

  • Excellent wages of $29/hr (plus $2.00/hr incentive) for eligible starting driver wage of $31.00/hr

  • Paid training while you earn your CDL (classroom & behind the wheel)

  • 20 - 40 hours/week

  • Positive & professional work environment

School Bus

Qualifications:

  • 23+ years of age

  • Valid license for minimum of 3 years, with a good driving record

  •  Pass a Department of Transportation physical & drug/alcohol screening

  • Pass criminal history and background searches

    • ​This includes FBI check if applicant has not lived in Minnesota for the previous five years 

  • Pass four written permit tests (listed below)

  • Receive Centerline Charter Corp. classroom and driver training

  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, walking, kneeling, and bending over

  • Demonstrate respect, safety mindedness, punctuality, reliability, and team player skills

  • Communicate clearly, written and orally, in English as it relates to the job and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations

  • Attend work punctually, on a daily basis, or talk to dispatch when absent

  • Promote good public relations

  • Show respect for others' rights and property
